Hailed by some critics as the first game that actually looked next-gen, Fight Night Round 3 was the best looking and playing entry in the series up to this point. Before leaving NuFX, I was actaully in meetings relating to the kick off of the Knockout Kings reboot. Three years earlier, after NuFX had both March Madness and NBA Street franchises brought back to EA Canada for development, NuFX picked up the reigns on the Knockout Kings series and EA subsequently rebranded it as Fight Night. It turned out to be a great series and EA decided to aquire NuFX and rename the studio EA Chicago. At this point I decided to leave a disasterous NBA ballers 2 project to reunite with my former co-workers to help bring Fight Night to the next generation of consoles. This first attempt would go out on Xbox 360 mere months after launch and was a big hit.
